Disney has released a trailer for Jungle Cruise, which is based on the popular Disneyland ride, with Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson searching for the secret to eternal life.
The trailer shows intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton (Blunt) traveling from London to the Amazon jungle to find an ancient tree with healing powers that can change modern medicine as long as it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. She hires skipper Frank Wolff (Johnson) to accompany her on the journey.
Frank explains to her that he’s been searching for this same tree, and he’s had no luck uncovering it. During their journey, the pair will be faced with animals and people that want to kill them.
Also starring in Jungle Cruise are Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.
The film will be released on July 24th and you can watch the trailer below.
