Could We Be Getting a “Bohemian Rhapsody” Sequel?

All those in favor of a Bohemian Rhapsody sequel, say “aye!”

The Queen biopic rocked cinemas last year thanks to a stellar performance by Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury and a set of songs that reminded us why the British group are the champions.

After making over $875 million worldwide, there is now talk within the Queen family of making another film.

Rudi Dolezal, who directed Queen videos, has told Page Six that a sequel is being “heavily discussed” and that he expects the group’s manager Jim Beach, who also produced the film, to back a second installment.

“I’m sure he plans a sequel that starts with Live Aid,” he said.

Should a sequel be greenlit, it will no doubt see Malek reprise his role as the frontman, which saw him take home the Best Actor award at the 2019 Oscars.

The show must go on…
