The British rock band has a new album on the way and stopped by Rockefeller Plaza to show us what we can look forward to later this month when it hits shelves.

Last month, Chris Martin and his bandmates released two new songs from the double-sided CD: “Orphans” and “Arabesque.”

“Orphans” was played before a live audience for the first time during Coldplay’s appearance as musical guests on Saturday Night Live. In addition, they also introduced fans to the album’s titular track, “Everyday Life”.

Martin performed the ballad whilst seated at the piano, and shortly after the show, a lyric video was released.

Although Everyday Life — which consists of one side titled Sunrise and the other Sunset — is only being released to the public in November 22nd, the “Viva La Vida” rockers will be playing its songs during two concerts in Jordan just prior.

Coldplay: Everyday Life — Live in Jordan will take place in Amman on November 21st and 22nd and be broadcast on YouTube.

“These two broadcasts have been our dream since we first started work on this album,” the band said in a statement. “It’s a bit impossible and a bit scary, like all the best dreams. YouTube is the perfect home for it.”

Fans would be forgiven for thinking they’d entered paradise.
