Channing Tatum Set to Return in “Magic Mike’s Last Dance”

Magic Mike franchise allowed Channing Tatum to fully unleash his star power, and he’s getting ready for more. The third movie in this series, titled Magic Mike’s Last Dance, is on the way and it will reunite Tatum with his frequent collaborator Steven Soderbergh.

Tatum broke the news about the third Magic Mike movie on social media, by posting the first page of the script, which confirms that Soderbergh is returning as a director, with Reid Carolin writing the script.

“There are no words for how excited I am to blow the doors off of the world of ‘Magic Mike’ with Steven, Greg, Reid, and the amazing people at HBO Max. The stripperverse will never be the same,” said Tatum in the official statement.

The first Magic Mike movie came out in 2012, and it also starred Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, and Matthew McConaughey. It focused on a group of male strippers trying to make some quick cash, and it was followed by a sequel Magic Mike XXL in 2015. In addition to two movies, the success of Magic Mike also spawned a stage experience Magic Mike Live and the upcoming reality show series Finding Magic Mike on HBO Max.
