Several stars are reportedly lining up to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show — but Cardi B isn’t one of them.

The illustrious tournament has been a source of controversy of late after certain NFL players chose to kneel during the anthem. The incident led to the firing of San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick.

Page Six had claimed that Cardi wanted $1 million to perform at the halftime show for Super Bowl 53 (a gig which is usually without payment). But, the “Money” rapper has rejected the report, with her representative saying, “There was never a firm offer, to begin with, for a performance. There [were] talks about it, but she was not particularly interested in participating because of how she feels about Colin Kaepernick and the whole movement.”

It was announced last week that rapper Travis Scott would be joining Maroon 5 on the Super Bowl stage on the 3rd of February.
