Upcoming streaming service Quibi has several promising projects in-store, and they’re assembling an impressive cast for another one. Bill Murray just landed one of the key roles in the upcoming comedy series The Now.

This project is being developed by Oscar winner Peter Farrelly and his brother Bobby Farrelly, and it “examines what exactly makes life worth living”. It tells the story of Ed Poole (Dave Franco) who makes a decision to live in “the now” after a secret from his past threatens to destroy his future.

We still don’t know what to expect from Murray’s role in this comedy series, but he’ll be in a pretty good company. The cast of The Now also includes O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton), Daryl Hannah (Kill Bill), and Jimmy Tatro (American Vandal).

This Quibi show isn’t the only exciting project that Bill Murray has on the way. He’ll team up with his frequent collaborator Wes Anderson in The French Dispatch and return to the iconic role of Dr. Peter Venkman in the upcoming sequel Ghostbusters 2020.
