Ariana Grande created a lot of buzz for her new album Eternal Sunshine, and she’s now enjoying the fruits of her labor. Her latest LP found enormous success on the Billboard 200 chart, while its latest single “We Can’t Be Friends” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Eternal Sunshine hit No. 1 with 227,000 equivalent album units upon its release on March 8, including 77,000 in pure sales alone. It continued Grande’s almost-perfect Billboard 200 streak, becoming her sixth out of seven albums to top this chart.

Its release was accompanied by the second single “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)”, which became Grande’s ninth single to top the Hot 100. It soared to No. 1 with 32.6 million streams, 4.6 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 9,000 in sales.

“We Can’t Be Friends” set several major milestones on its way to No. 1. It helped Grande become the female artist with the most No. 1 debuts on the Hot 100 chart, breaking the record previously held by Taylor Swift.

“We Can’t Be Friends” is the second single from Eternal Sunshine to debut at No. 1, following “Yes, And?” They mimic the success of “Thank U, Next” and “7 Rings” from Thank U, Next, transforming Grande into the first female artist with multiple No. 1 debuts from two albums.
