The comedian has announced that she is expecting her first child.
Amy Schumer has taken to Instagram to announced the very exciting news that she and husband, chef Chris Fischer are pregnant. As is to be expected the announcement was no ordinary one as the comedian posted a photo showing the heads of herself and her husband, edited onto the bodies of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are expecting their first child.
The pictures were captioned with a message directing fans to the page of the journalist, Jessica Yellin, who posted Schumer’s recommendations for the upcoming US midterm elections. The list ended with the words: “I’m pregnant – Amy Schumer.”
In a statement to The Times, Schumer said, “Chris and I are thrilled and almost positive he’s the father. I look forward to competing with Markle every step of the way.”
The announcement comes almost eight months after the couple got married in a surprise ceremony. Back then she also took to Instagram to announce the news, posting a series of photos from the wedding, along with the caption, “Yup.”
