This spring has been pretty great for new music releases, and Billie Eilish is the latest artist to throw her hat into the ring. Her third studio album Hit Me Hard and Soft lives up to its name, and it sees her getting vulnerable and honest while experimenting with new sound.

When Eilish initially announced this album, she described it as a diverse yet cohesive collection of songs, which hits you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically, while bending genres and defying trends along the way. She certainly kept her promise, giving us a collection of 10 amazing songs you can’t help but listen to from beginning to end.

Eilish dropped Hit Me Hard and Soft on May 17, and celebrated its release by sharing the music video for the lead single “Lunch”. This catchy song features electro and synth-pop elements, and it’s inspired by the singer’s realization she’s attracted to both men and women.

“Lunch” will win people over with its catchy sound, but it’s not the only amazing song that Hit Me Hard and Soft has in store. All 10 tracks on this album work together in perfect harmony, but “Birds of a Feather”, “Chihiro”, and “L’Amour de Ma Vie” have the potential to become its biggest hits.
