Zoe Saldana has a plan for her Marvel character…

The Avatar actress has played Gamora in four MCU films, the most recent of which was Avengers: Endgame.

There, her character, who is the adopted daughter of Thanos, decided to go off to an unknown location, leaving her fellow Guardians of the Galaxy (and Thor) to go in search of her.

With James Gunn finally being allowed to return to the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and the third installment moving ahead, Saldana has shared her thoughts on what she would like to happen to her green alter-ego.

“There’s a part of me that wants her to go back. Find her way back to the Guardians. But there’s also a part of me that wants to explore a bad Gamora,” she said at Seattle’s ACE Comic-Con.

“I’ve never seen that and she’s, you know, she’s considered the most lethal assassin. The most lethal woman in the galaxy. So I would want to see what that wrath looks like, also because it would just give me layers to sort of work on. But yeah, I want her to get back to the Guardians.”

With Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. III only due out in 2021, there’s a lot of time to speculate…
