Seth Meyers has a reputation for making people laugh, but now the late night TV host has left his audience shocked as well.
On Sunday, Seth became a father for the second time when his wife, Alexi, gave birth to their son, Axel Strahl Meyers.
What started out as a chilled day, having brunch and hanging out with their firstborn at the park (as you do when you live in New York City) became rather eventful when Alexi started experiencing contractions while at their apartment.
Despite an Uber being en route, Seth’s wife informed him that there would not be time to reach the hospital as “the baby is out.”
Lucky for the 44-year-old (and everyone else concerned), Alexi’s mother, as well as her doula, were present as the brave mom gave birth in the lobby of their building!
While relaying the story on his late night show, Seth also revealed that the baby’s second name “Strahl” is his mother-in-law’s maiden name to honor her parents, who were Holocaust survivors.
Following the extremely unconventional delivery, Meyers said he realized, “That kid’s going to be fine forever because of her,” referring to his wife.
Sorry, Gal Gadot, this might be the new Wonder Woman!
