Looks like Sister Deloris could be making a comeback!

A third installment of Whoopi Goldberg’s most iconic film could be happening. According to Entertainment Tonight, the 62-year-old actress is still very much interested in making Sister Act 3.

The original film about a lounge singer-turned-nun hit our screens in 1992 and was a huge success. It was followed by a sequel a year later.

Whoopi Goldberg and Tyler Perry both appeared on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live this week to promote Perry’s Nobody’s Fool starring Goldberg and Tiffany Haddish. Perry, it seems is already thinking of a joint Goldberg — Haddish sequel,  “The two of them in Sister Act, that should happen. Let’s make it happen,” he insisted.

Cohen persisted, suggesting that Perry take a more active role in the potential sequel. “Can’t you buy the rights to Sister Act?” he asked the producer. “That’s exactly what I was thinking. I was sitting here thinking, Tiffany Haddish, Whoopi in Sister Act,” Perry said. “We’ll go get ‘em!”
