Whitney Houston’s New Single Makes Us Want to Dance with Somebody

Believe it or not, Whitney Houston just dropped a new single.

Seven years after the “How Will I Know” singer passed away, a new single featuring her iconic voice has been released.

The track is a remake of “Higher Love,” which was made popular by Steve Winwood in 1986.

Until now, the only people who have heard Whitney’s version — besides her management team — were thousands of fans who watched her perform it during a 1990 concert in Japan as part of her Feels So Right Tour.

A year later, the 6-time Grammy Award winner recorded the song, though it was never released.

Cut to almost three decades later, when enters Kygo.

The Norwegian DJ has put his own spin on the song, making it one which definitely has us wanting to get on the floor and dance with somebody!

“I’m incredibly honored to have been able to work on this amazing vocal from one of the most legendary artists of all time!” he said. “Hope you guys love it as much as I do.”

That we do!
