The cast of the new Cinderella film is sounding like a dream come true.

The classic fairytale from the 17th century is being remade by Sony Pictures and set to star the “Señorita” singer Camila Cabello as the titular character.

Reports now claim that Billy Porter who recently won an Emmy for Pose is in negotiations to fill the role of Cinderella’s fabulous fairy godmother who makes the poor girl look ravishing with a swish of a magic wand. Sounds like the perfect fit.

Even better is that the Frozen 2 star, Idina Menzel, is rumored to be playing the evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine, who makes Cinderella’s life a living hell.

The film — which is being written and directed by Kay Cannon of Blockers — is based on an original idea by James Corden and will musically-orientated which suits Grammy Award-winning Cabello and Tony Award-winning Menzel perfectly well.
