Watch the Trailer for Wes Anderson’s New Movie “The French Dispatch”

Love him or not, you cannot deny he has style. Wes Anderson is back with a new movie, The French Dispatch, and the new trailer boasts a list of stars filling the roster.

Among them you’ll find names such as Saoirse Ronan, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Adrien Brody, Benicio Del Toro, Jeffrey Wright, Léa Seydoux, and Timothée Chalamet.

The movie, which will premiere on July 24th, 2020, has a complicated plot.

“[It’s about an] American journalist based in France [who] creates his magazine. It is more a portrait of this man, of this journalist who fights to write what he wants to write. It’s not a movie about freedom of the press, but when you talk about reporters you also talk about what’s going on in the real world,” Anderson said.

The film’s release date hints at a possible premiere at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival – a festival that Anderson has not participated in since 2012’s Moonrise Kingdom.  His last two films debuted at the Berlin Film Festival.
