The trailer for Chappaquiddick, the story of the scandal that changed U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy’s life, has just been released.
The movie focuses on the infamous car accident in which 28-year old campaign strategist Mary Jo Kopechne was killed. Instead of contacting the authorities and reporting the accident, Kennedy went to his hotel and called family members to help him sort it out.
is directed by John Curran. The role of Ted Kennedy went to not-so-famous Jason Clarke. The movie will appear in theaters on April 6 next year.
