Thoughts and well wishes are with Walk Off the Earth who recently lost a member of their band.
Formed in 2006, the Canadian group became famous for their covers of well-known songs accompanied by instruments such as the ukulele and the theremin.
The band consisted of Gianni Nicassio, Sarah Blackwood, Ryan Marshall, Mike Taylor, and Joel Cassady.
In a heartbreaking statement, Walk Off the Earth revealed that Mike, who was nicknamed “Beard Guy” has passed away.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother and band member, Mike “Beard Guy” Taylor. Mike had a love for life that was unmatched and a willingness to give that went beyond ordinary means. He passed peacefully from natural causes last night in his sleep. Our deepest sympathies are with his two children, whom he adored more than anything else in the world. We ask for privacy for his family in this trying time.”
