Chrissy Metz will star in a new movie titled The Impossible.
The movie is being directed by Roxann Dawson based on the book The Impossible: The Miraculous Story of a Mother’s Faith and Her Child’s Resurrection by Joyce Smith. The author told the story of her son who came back to life thanks to her faith after falling through a frozen lake.
Metz has been a breakout star of NBC’s hot family drama This Is Us, where she plays one of The Big Three, Kate, earning one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations to date. Metz, who is fresh off of a SAG win for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, is repped by CAA and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
The filming will begin in March.
