Venom movies have proven themselves as a huge commercial hit for Sony, with $1.4 billion earned at the box office, so it’s not a surprise to see the studio developing another one.

Viola Davis will finally have a chance to become a superheroine in her own right in this historical epic set in the Kingdom of Dahomey and Sony shared the first look at this project at CinemaCon.
