Toni Braxton to Release First Solo Album in 8 Years

Unbreak My Heart singer Toni Braxton is about to release her first solo album after an 8-year break.

The 50-year-old star announced the news on Monday. The new album will come as a celebration of 25th anniversary of her debut album, 1993’s Toni Braxton. It will be titled Sex and Cigarettes and is scheduled to drop on March 23 this year.

Braxton has just released a brand new single, Long As I Live, which is available on YouTube and streaming platforms.

Despite her ongoing fight with lupus, she will be going on a North American tour in the spring. “I feel so blessed because the doctors told me I would never be able to perform, I would never be able to travel or anything, but, you know, whole different plan for me,” she recently shared for People.

While we’re waiting for the album, you can hear the single Long As I Live below.
