The Sequel to “A Quiet Place” is Filming as We Don’t Speak

John Krasinski and Noah Jupe in "A Quiet Place"

John Krasinski has quietly let us know that filming on the sequel to A Quiet Place has begun.

The 2018 film about a family forced to stay silent to keep themselves safe in a post-apocalyptic world earned over $340 million worldwide, becoming one of the hit films of the year and included in several Top 10 lists.

It also marked the first time that Krasinski, who also stars in the film, has sat in the director’s chair.

He will repeat the feat with the sequel, which is being referred to as Part II.

In addition to Krasinski returning, so will Emily Blunt, who played his on-screen spouse (while also being his real-life wife) and earned herself a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role.

With production already underway, all looks set for A Quiet Place: Part II release on March 20th, 2020.
