Another Neil Gaiman television project is in the works.

Over the past three years, fans of the English author have seen both American Gods and Good Omens come to life, with a third show now possibly on its way.

A deal between Netflix and Warner Bros. TV is reportedly near completion, which will see an adaptation of The Sandman comic book series.

The 75-issue series follows Morpheus, who is the Lord of Dreams and one of seven fictional beings called the Endless.

This is not the first time that the DC work was set for screen — Inception actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt was scheduled to star and direct a film version, but creative differences led him to exit the project three years ago.

Allan Heinberg, who penned the script for another DC feature Wonder Woman, will serve as both writer and showrunner for The Sandman series, with Gaiman and David Goyer acting as executive producers.

Let’s hope this dream comes to fruition!
