Kelly Clarkson proved the world there’s literally nothing she can’t do when her own talk show aired on NBC this fall – and that’s just the beginning! NBC bosses announced they’ll be bringing back The Kelly Clarkson Show for its second season.

This decision doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone since this show ranks as the no.1 new syndicated program and attracts an average of 1.9 million viewers per episode. It’s also a huge success on social media platforms, thanks to Clarkson’s viral covers featured in the “Kellyoke” segment.

Tracie Wilson, EVP of creative affairs for NBCUniversal Television Distribution, announced the renewal of this show in an official statement and praised Clarkson for bringing her brand of humor and heart to this amazing show.

“It is a privilege to be in business with Kelly and our production team, led by Alex Duda, who have a clear creative vision and a talent for storytelling and creating quality entertainment that invites you in for a good time and leaves you feeling happy,” said Wilson.
