The announcement that the horror-comedy has been canceled came from series creator Dana Gould. 

“Stan Against Evil, I am sad to report, will not be returning for a fourth season” Gould said. “It had a great run of three seasons. It’s not coming back. Will it show up in some other form on some other network someday? Maybe. But right now, as we like to say, it’s dead as Kelsey’s nuts.”

The series starred John C. McGinley and Janet Varney. It followed the disgruntled former sheriff  (McGinley ) of a small New England town, and Evie Barret (Varney), his younger, more spirited successor. 

“We are grateful to Dana Gould and our partners at Radical Media, as well as the stellar cast of ‘Stan Against Evil’ including John C. McGinley and Janet Varney for three unforgettable seasons battling the forces of evil and the most original one-liners anywhere,” IFC said in statement.

MTV’s favorite housemates are going on another vacation and this time they’re off to Las Vegas. After a party and drama full reunion in Miami the gang will get back together including Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio,” Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino for another vacation.

The network has released a trailer for the upcoming season proves what fans already know to expect — drama, drama and then some more drama, with Snooki informing the gang that Angelina wants to join them in New Jersey, cast members revealing pregnancies and even one Vegas wedding.

The upcoming spin-off will focus on Karyo’s character, detective Julien Baptiste. We met him in the show’s original run from 2014 to 2016.

“Julien Baptiste is very dear to me, so I’m really excited to be following his journey to the streets of Amsterdam and seeing what dark secrets he unveils this time,” Karyo shared. “No doubt he’ll continue to take great risks all in the name of justice.”

Filming is scheduled to start later this year.

Heigl is apparently an “immense fan” who has “watched Suits from the very beginning”. The series’ return for Season 8 was somewhat surprising, given that two main actors left (Markle and Patrick J. Adams).

Emmy-winning Heigl, who left Grey’s Anatomy in 2010 to concentrate on her film career, has since starred in a pair of short-lived TV dramas, NBC’s State of Affairs and, more recently, CBS’ Doubt.

Besides Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle, Suits could also lose Gina Torres, since a spinoff focusing on her character is in works by Aaron Korsh who created the original.

The filming will start in a few months in Toronto. The premiere of the new season is expected by the end of 2018.

Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment. He is survived by his mother and father, and his brother. The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected.”

Salling was known for his role of Noah Puckerman on the hit show Glee. He was accused of possessing child pornography and pleaded guilty last month. His 7-year prison sentence was about to start in March.

Jean-Marc Vallée, who directed all of Season 1, will also executive produce along with Kelley, Kidman and Per Saari through Blossom Films, Witherspoon through Hello Sunshine, Bruna Papandrea, Nathan Ross, Gregg Fienberg and Arnold.
