]]>Multiple outlets report that the network, which originally ordered a Lost Boys pilot last season, has given the green light to a revamped pilot for the 2020-2021 season. Mitchell and Thomas, as well as cast members from the first pilot, are all attached to the new one.
According to Variety, the reboot of the 1987 show will follow a mother and her Gen Z sons as they move to the seaside town where she grew up. There they discover there’s a sinister reason the local cool kids sleep all day, party all night, never grow up and never get old. Family bonds are tested as the brothers find themselves on opposite sides of a mythological struggle.
The CW haded a second pilot order for the drama Maverick.

]]>The trailer also introduces a new villain, Midnight. Played by Jennifer Cheon Garcia, Midnight is released from an alien prison and plans her revenge against the ones responsible for her imprisonment. “There is no hiding from Midnight”, says the “physical manifestation of darkness” before attacking Kara.
The new look of Supergirl includes a new suit which has the power to materialize according to Kara’s will, much like the Iron man suit in the MCU movies.
The official description reads: “Kara (Melissa Benoist) is surprised to find that CatCo has a new owner who has brought in a star reporter. New couples emerge and explore their budding relationships while J’onn J’onzz (David Harewood) receives an unexpected visitor. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Derek Simon & Nicki Holcomb. Original airdate 10/6/2019”.
The new season of Supergirl will begin on October 6 on The CW.

]]>At the time, she told TVLine, “Working on the Dynasty reboot and reprising the iconic role of Alexis has been thoroughly enjoyable, but the chance to spend precious time with my terminally ill mother is more important to me right now. I am hopeful that my fans will embrace my successor with as much passion as they embraced me.”
The way to the “new” Alexis was paved after her long-lost son, Adam, pushed her into a fireplace. The incident didn’t kill her but did get the character the much needed time behind bandages as prep for the big switch.
As Friday’s episode was nearing its end, Alexis’ bandages finally came off, giving fans their first look at Elizabeth Gillies as the “new” Alexis. Yep, that’s right, the same Elizabeth Gillies who also plays Fallon on the show.
Gillies checked in with the Twitterverse, and it looks like fans a mostly enthusiastic with her Alexis.
