The cast of Aaron Sorkin’s Chicago 7 picked up the award for the best ensemble in a motion picture, beating the likes of Minari and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. It was a historic night for the cast member Michael Keaton, who became the first actor in SAG history to pick up the award in this category on three separate occasions.

Actors of color made history in other acting categories, where the awards went to the Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom leads Chadwick Boseman and Viola Davis, Minari’s Youn Yuh-jung, and Daniel Kaluuya for Judas and the Black Messiah.

The Crown and Schitt’s Creek were the biggest winners in the TV field, and they both picked up awards for the best television ensemble in their respective categories.
