Marvel Studios has been plotting the next The Fantastic Four movie for quite some time, and they found a perfect time to officially announce it. Marvel celebrated Valentine’s Day by revealing that Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will lead this superhero flick.

Pascal has long been rumored to play Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, and his casting has finally been confirmed. The Mandalorian and Last of Us star is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, and he’ll soon be seen in Drive-Away Dolls before playing one of the key roles in Gladiator 2.

Pascal will be joined by Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, Mission: Impossible franchise) as Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) as Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear) as Ben Grimm aka the Thing.

Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer wrote the script for the latest The Fantastic Four reboot, while WandaVision helmer Matt Shakman is on board to direct it. This marks the third attempt to bring this superhero film to the big screen, following Tim Story’s two films in 2005/2007 and Josh Trank’s critically panned 2015 reboot.

The Fantastic Four will hit the theaters on July 25, 2025, taking Thunderbolts’s previously announced release date.

It was just a matter of time before HBO renewed The Last of Us, after 4.7 million viewers tuned in to watch it on the first day. That moment is finally here, and HBO gave this video game adaptation a Season 2 renewal only a few episodes into the first season.

The Last of Us draws inspiration from Naughty Dog’s acclaimed video game of the same name, and its adaptation was a long time coming. Hardened survivor Joel takes center stage in this series, as we watch him embark on a journey across post-apocalyptic America in an attempt to smuggle a teenage girl Ellie out of an oppressive quarantine zone.

Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey take lead roles in this series, and they’re in pretty good company since its supporting cast includes Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett, Nick Offerman, Melanie Lynskey, and Storm Reid.

Craig Mazin, who co-created the series alongside the game’s author Neil Druckmann, credited the fans for its overnight success and thanked them for giving them a chance to continue telling this story.

“I’m so grateful to Neil Druckmann and HBO for our partnership, and I’m even more grateful to the millions of people who have joined us on this journey… As a fan of the characters and world Neil and Naughty Dog created, I couldn’t be more ready to dive back in,” said Mazin in a statement.
