Marvel Studios has been plotting the next The Fantastic Four movie for quite some time, and they found a perfect time to officially announce it. Marvel celebrated Valentine’s Day by revealing that Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will lead this superhero flick.

Pascal has long been rumored to play Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, and his casting has finally been confirmed. The Mandalorian and Last of Us star is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, and he’ll soon be seen in Drive-Away Dolls before playing one of the key roles in Gladiator 2.

Pascal will be joined by Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, Mission: Impossible franchise) as Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) as Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear) as Ben Grimm aka the Thing.

Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer wrote the script for the latest The Fantastic Four reboot, while WandaVision helmer Matt Shakman is on board to direct it. This marks the third attempt to bring this superhero film to the big screen, following Tim Story’s two films in 2005/2007 and Josh Trank’s critically panned 2015 reboot.

The Fantastic Four will hit the theaters on July 25, 2025, taking Thunderbolts’s previously announced release date.
