Clarkson took to social media to reveal she’s been working on some new music for the past three years and she’s finally ready to share it with the world. She didn’t name names, but her statement made it clear that her divorce from Brandon Blackstock served as inspiration for this record.

“This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship. A whole relationship shouldn’t be brought down to just one thing. So there’s the good, the bad, and the ugly kinda thing going on it,” said Clarkson.

The singer also said that she opted for the title Chemistry because she was looking for one word that perfectly encapsulates its energy. One of the songs on this LP will be named “Chemistry”, and it’s also expected to feature tracks “Red Flag Collector” and “Raw Cuts” / “Rock Hudson”.

Chemistry will mark Clarkson’s first release since her Christmas album When Christmas Comes Around… in 2021 and covers EP Kellyoke in 2022. Her last regular album Meaning of Life was released in 2017, and it earned her two more Grammy nominations.

During her Meaning of Life tour show in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Kelly Clarkson expressed her great love for Gaga by doing an unbelievable cover of the Oscar-nominated track.

“This chick is amazing. We’re really different, but at the same time, we’re really similar in the fact that she just loves music, and that’s why she’s doing what she’s doing,” said The Voice judge.

“I remember her first single, we actually did a show together, combined for some event. She wrote me a handwritten letter saying, ‘Thank you so much. It was an honor to open for you.’ She was the nicest human being ever… It’s cool to know someone that talented is also really nice. I’ve been rooting for her for a while.”

Kelly pinned her hopes on “Shallow” picking up the Academy Award on February 24th, saying, “This song, it’s from the movie that she’s nominated for, like, a billion awards for… and I hope she wins.”

Before launching into “Shallow,” the American Idol winner quipped, “I hope I don’t suck, and if I do, I hope she doesn’t see it.”

The network praised the Love So Soft singer highly, describing her as genuine, warm, fun, open, honest, and curious, declaring that she takes everything she touches to another level.

As for how the Grammy award winner feels about her new venture?

“I love connecting with people, playing games, music and finding ways to help or give back to communities/organisations. Having my own talk show where I get to do all of these things is pretty much a dream job!”

Kelly’s show will debut in fall 2019, but we’re already convinced that television would suck without her.
