Kelly Clarkson has never been too far from TV screens — having competed on the inaugural season of American Idol (which she won!), and then becoming a judge on The Voice.
And now the Texas native is making her stay on the small screen even more permanent by hosting her own talk show on NBC.
Entitled The Kelly Clarkson Show, the series will air before Ellen and span one hour.
The network praised the Love So Soft singer highly, describing her as genuine, warm, fun, open, honest, and curious, declaring that she takes everything she touches to another level.
As for how the Grammy award winner feels about her new venture?
“I love connecting with people, playing games, music and finding ways to help or give back to communities/organisations. Having my own talk show where I get to do all of these things is pretty much a dream job!”
Kelly’s show will debut in fall 2019, but we’re already convinced that television would suck without her.
