]]>With 402,000 album-equivalent units earned during its first week on the chart, For All the Dogs was a clear leader on the Billboard 200 chart this week. It’s Drake’s 13th album to hit No. 1 in the US, the third-most chart-leaders in the U.S. behind Jay-Z with 14 and The Beatless with 19.
For All the Dogs also made quite a splash on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with all of its 23 tracks making the cut. To make the whole thing even more impressive, seven of them made it to the top ten, including “First Person Shooter” ft. J. Cole, Drake’s 13th chart-topper in the US.
Drake is now tied with Michael Jackson for the most No. 1 songs among solo male artists, but he’s yet to surpass Rihanna (14), Mariah Carey (19), and The Beatles (20). He also became the first artist in history with over 300 Billboard Hot 100 entries with a total of 320.

]]>Despite her domination at the BBMAs, Rodrigo failed to pick up the biggest award of the night—the top artist. This honor went to Drake, who won five awards at this ceremony, bringing his career total to 34 and extending his record as the most-awarded artist in the history of the Billboard Music Awards.
Rodrigo might’ve missed the chance to win the top artist award, but that didn’t stop her from being crowned the top new artist and top female artist. She also won awards for the top Hot 100 artist, top streaming songs artist, top radio songs artist, top Billboard 200 Global artist, and top Billboard 200 album with Sour.
Rodrigo didn’t do so great in the songs categories, despite the enormous success of her song “Good 4 U”. “Stay” by The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber defeated this smash hit in most categories it was running in including the top Hot 100 song, top streaming song, and top Billboard Global 200 song.
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards were hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs and they took place in Las Vegas on May 15.

]]>The Game of Thrones fandom has taken over the globe, with the hype even more intense as we steer towards the finale of the whole thing.
Last week proved that Arya is the badass we always knew she was, and her feats during the Battle of Winterfell did not go unnoticed.
Especially by Drake.
The “God’s Plan” rapper cleaned up at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards and gave a shout-out to the young warrior in his speech.
“I want to thank my mom for all the times you drove me to piano. All the times you drove me to basketball and hockey, that clearly didn’t work out. All the times you drove me to Degrassi… And shout-out to Arya Stark for putting in that work last week!”
Drake’s 12 wins on Wednesday night enabled him to break the record for the number of Awards received by an artist, as he now has 27 BMAs to his name.
Arya should be thanking him!

]]>There are just 3 weeks left of 2018 so it’s natural that those who topped the charts during the year are officially being recognized for doing so.
Both Spotify and Apple have released their list of musicians who were the most played on their platforms and it just further proves that Drake is a force to be reckoned with.
The rapper may be wondering if Kiki loves him, but listeners on both streaming services certainly do with him being named Apple Artist of the Year and earning the top spot of Spotify thanks to 8.2 billion streams (also making him Spotify’s most-streamed artist of all-time!)
He was followed on the latter list by Post Malone, XXXTentacion, J Balvin, and Ed Sheeran, while the In My Feelings hitmaker’s new album, Scorpion, was the top album in iTunes, and his track God’s Plan the most popular single.

]]>On the 10th of July, Drake released In My Feelings as the 5th single from his latest album, Scorpion.
The track appears to have followed in the footsteps of one of its predecessors, Hotline Bling, which is recognized for an iconic dance which the rapper performed in the music video.
In My Feelings’ line, “Kiki, do you love me?” inspired comedian, Shiggy, to create what has become known all over social media as the #InMyFeelingsChallenge.
The challenge has seen dozens of celebs breaking it down to Drake.
On-screen couple Sterling K. Brown and Susan Kelechi Watson of This Is Us threw in some twerking:
DJ Steve Aoki got creative on the sea:
Newlyweds Ciara and Russell Wilson did their thing whilst on honeymoon in Cape Town, South Africa:
The Fab Five might just incorporate the challenge on Queer Eye:
Ryan Seacrest might need a bit more practice…
And Will Smith took the challenge to new heights:
On behalf of Kiki, we love all of these!

]]>During an interview with Vogue, the “Needed Me” singer revealed that she is no longer friends with Canadian rapper Drake.
Speculation has always surrounded the pair’s relationship, with fans wondering whether they may have ever embarked on something romantic (which RiRi has always denied).
Then, while presenting her with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, the “God’s Plan” rapper dropped a massive bombshell.
“We love the music, we love the videos, but most of all, we love the woman who hasn’t changed since day one,” Drake declares. “She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old. She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life I’ve looked up to her even though she’s younger than me. She’s a living, breathing legend in our industry.”
The speech didn’t go down too well, with Rihanna saying, “Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.”
“We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is,” the 30 year old clarified.
She definitely doesn’t have love on the brain…

]]>Compared to 2017, Jay-Z increased its net worth from $810 million to $900 million, thanks to his champagne brand Armand de Brignac and D’Ussé cognac. His ownership stakes in Roc Nation and Tidal streaming service also greatly helped the cause.
Diddy, on the other hand, didn’t have such a fruitful year like Jay-Z, but he also didn’t lose any of his wealth. In 2018 Diddy’s net worth is $825 million, which represents a $5 million increase compared to the last year. His ventures in vodka (Ciroc) and TV ( Revolt) businesses didn’t pan out as he may have expected, but his businesses with DeLeón tequila and beverage company Diageo helped Diddy to keep his fortune intact.
Dr. Dre remained on the third spot with a net worth of $770 million, compared to $730 million in 2017. The legendary rapper and hip-hop producer might well claim the first spot in 2019 since he is about to get some Apple stocks in the summer which could end up being worth well about $100 million.
When it comes to fourth and fifth place on the list, there is a tie between Eminem and Drake. The both have an estimated net worth of $100 million.
