Drake recently dropped a music video for the viral hit “Toosie Slide” from his Toronto mansion, and it turns out this isn’t the only new track he’s been working on in quarantine. The Canadian rapper is plotting his next album, and he said it’s going to be “fresh” and “brand new”.

Drake discussed his future plans during a recent appearance in Diddy’s Instagram dance-a-thon fundraiser and revealed he’s focusing on making new music while social distancing.

“Definitely, this is the most excited I’ve been about an album in a long time. A lot of little stuff has been trickling out but all the stuff on the album is fresh, it’s brand new. I’m excited. This is probably the most music I’ve ever been sitting on. I’m hyped,” said the singer.

The two rappers also did the viral “Toosie Slide” dance during their live stream. The song of the same name was released on April 3rd, and Drake used its title to pay homage to the dancer Toosie, who came up with the choreography alongside Hiii Key and Ayo & Teo.
