]]>The playful video for her latest single draws clear inspiration from John Everett Millais’ Ophelia painting – minus the tragic backstory. It sees Cabello drifting through a flower-filled river, relaxing in the field covered in petals, and changing a couple of beautiful gowns along the way.
“Living Proof” will be featured on Cabello’s sophomore album Romance, set to be released on December 6th. The singer said she wanted this record to “sound like what falling in love feels like” and she drew inspiration from her personal experiences.
“I’ve never lived as much life as I did writing this album. It was messy, and beautiful, unforgettable and at times so painful I wish I could forget, it was excruciatingly consuming and impossible not to get lost in, it was mine… and now it’s yours,” wrote Cabello on Instagram.

]]>The classic fairytale from the 17th century is being remade by Sony Pictures and set to star the “Señorita” singer Camila Cabello as the titular character.
Reports now claim that Billy Porter who recently won an Emmy for Pose is in negotiations to fill the role of Cinderella’s fabulous fairy godmother who makes the poor girl look ravishing with a swish of a magic wand. Sounds like the perfect fit.
Even better is that the Frozen 2 star, Idina Menzel, is rumored to be playing the evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine, who makes Cinderella’s life a living hell.
The film — which is being written and directed by Kay Cannon of Blockers — is based on an original idea by James Corden and will musically-orientated which suits Grammy Award-winning Cabello and Tony Award-winning Menzel perfectly well.

The track earned the biggest single-day debut for a male-female duet in Spotify history, with the music video seeing the pair getting hot and steamy.
This is not the first time Mendes and Cabello have worked together, of course. Their 2015 song “I Know What You Did Last Summer” reaches the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
In an Instagram post that thanked the people involved in the production of “Señorita”, Camila referenced the “In My Blood” singer, saying, “You’ve been in my life for 5 years now and it’s a hell of a ride growing up together. Thank you for always being there for me and having my back. Everybody on here that loves you would only love you more if they really knew you.”

]]>The post Keep Calm, Harmonizers! Fifth Harmony is Taking a Break appeared first on TheDailyDay.
]]>In December 2016, Camila Cabello announced that she would be leaving the group, with contradictory explanations regarding her departure. Despite the controversy (or perhaps because of it), Camila went on to have a number one best-selling debut album.
Now, the remaining members of the quartet — Ally Brook, Normani, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane — appear to want to follow suit. A statement released by the band on Twitter has expressed their desire to pursue solo endeavours for the time being, citing the dreaded word — “hiatus”.
— Fifth Harmony (@FifthHarmony) March 19, 2018
The statement claims that the ladies “are excited and grateful to be able to take this time to learn and grow creatively”, to find their footing as individuals, in order to gain new experiences, strengths, and perspectives that they can bring back to their Fifth Harmony family.
Fans have understandably reacted with disappointment, questioning whether the “hiatus” is in fact just a euphemism for “break-up”.
However, the group — which was formed during the second season of X Factor US in 2012 — has confirmed that it will be performing in its upcoming shows scheduled until the end of the year.
Stay strong, Harmonizers!
