Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Jungle Cruise also collected two awards each. Disney continued its domination with the best drama win for Cruella.
Disney+ also conquered the TV categories, with Loki taking two TV awards—the TV show of the year and male star of the year for Tom Hiddleston. Grey’s Anatomy was right behind with two awards while Keeping Up with the Kardashians dominated the reality show field.
When it comes to music, BTS obliterated the competition and won a total of three awards— group, song, and music video of the year with “Butter”. It was also a big night for Olivia Rodrigo, who walked away with two awards, including the new artist of the year.
The People’s Choice Awards were held on December 7th, with SNL’s Kenan Thompson serving as a host.

]]>Pugh told Variety that she has finished filming her part in the upcoming Marvel flick. She then revealed why Black Widow is going to stand out among the other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“I think we’ve made something very raw and very painful and very beautiful and I think people are going to be really surprised by the outcome of a big action film having that much heart,” she told Beanie Feldstein.
“And I know lots of people will be emotional about [Scarlett Johansson] because her character had such a hard ending [in Endgame], but it was special learning from her, and she’s been doing this for like 10 years in those films.
“For this to be her film was special. And I got to be there and see how she does stunts and lives it, and it’s so her.”
Black Widow will be released in cinemas on May 1, 2020.

]]>A stand-alone film for Black Widow has been in the works for quite a while, but the picture seems to be finally taking shape.
Scarlett Johansson will, of course, star as the titular character, whose real name is Natasha Romanoff. The film is expected to explore her origins as a Russian spy.
Johansson will now be joined by Rachel Weisz, David Harbour, and Florence Pugh.
Marvel has remained quiet on which roles the newly-added trio will be playing, but it is possible that The Favourite actress and Stranger Things star could take on the position of villains. The Fighting with My Family actress is believed to be playing another spy.
Cate Shortland of Berlin Syndrome will be directing Black Widow, which has no release date as yet.
