Sophie Turner has No Intention to Star in “Game of Thrones” Prequel

Wee have seen the last of Sansa Stark.

Because Game of Thrones was such a success, it was no surprise that HBO decided to produce spin-offs of the hit series. While the network cancelled one of the potential shows in October last year, another, which is set to focus on House Targaryen, is still in the works.

House of the Dragon will be set many years before the Westeros to which we were introduced, meaning that most of the characters we’ve come to love will not be around. And that includes the Queen of the North.

Sophie Turner, who played the second of the Stark children throughout the series’ 8 seasons, has said that she has no plans to appear in the prequel.

“I would give anything to go back to what we had, but it wouldn’t be the same. It would be different; different people running it. I don’t want to be a part of it. Unless they give me the big bucks I’m not doing it!” she joked.

The GOT prequel is expected around 2022.
