Big Little Lies star Shailene Woodley and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers got engaged back in February, but it appears that the happy couple will take their time before making the final step. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Woodley revealed that she and Rodgers are in “no rush” to get married.
Woodley discussed her wedding plans with the media outlet and surprisingly shared that she doesn’t have any at the moment.
“There’s no wedding planning happening,” said Woodley. According to the Emmy-nominated actress, they are simply enjoying their engagement at the moment. “There’s no rush. We’ve got no rush.”
Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers reportedly started going out in the summer of 2020, shortly after Rodgers ended things with former car driver Danica Patrick. The rumors about their relationship intensified in early February when several media outlets, including US Weekly and People, broke the news about Woodley and Rodgers being together.
Shortly after that, Rodgers confirmed his relationship with Woodley and said they two are engaged while accepting the NFL MVP award. Woodley followed that up with a confession that they were engaged for months during a chat with The Hollywood Reporter.
“When we announced that we were engaged, we wanted to do that only because we didn’t want someone else to do it before we did,” Woodley shared.
In the same interview, Woodley revealed that she and Rodgers met through mutual friends who are musicians. It didn’t take much for them to click, and they even moved in together a few months later.
