If you ever needed concrete evidence of a dedicated fan base, look no further than the one belonging to Sense8.

The Netflix series follows 8 strangers in different countries throughout the world who discover that they are connected as part of a “cluster.”

Their ability as Sensates means that they are able to telepathically visit one another and share skills, both physical and verbal.

When the streaming service announced in June 2017 that they had cancelled the series following its second season (on a cliffhanger, no less!), fans rallied to save the sci-fi show produced by Lana and Lilly Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski.

The result was the promise of a 2-hour long “series finale” which will wrap up loose ends and allow loyal viewers to to bid farewell to the multinational cast they have come to love.

Netflix’s Vice President for Original Content, Cindy Holland, has said, “[Sense8] I believe in particular has a very important message and is a very important series for a lot of fans around the world. We were gratified to see so much fan love, and we were happy to be able to support what I think all the fans around the world will agree is going to be a fantastic, fitting conclusion for it.”

The finale will air on the 8th of June. Gather your cluster.
