Ryan Reynolds has some ‘splaining to do…
The actor stars as what is probably the cheekiest superhero on screen (sorry, Iron Man), Deadpool. And with the Marvel character set to release his sequel film in May, it’s no surprise that the marketing campaign is equally as cheeky.
The poster for Deadpool 2 shows Ryan in his red and black suit… and a rather familiar pose. The stance — depicting Deadpool making an “X” with his arms — appears to have been “borrowed” from another superhero — Wonder Woman.
And Gal Gadot definitely noticed.
The princess of Themyscira didn’t whip out her Lasso of Truth, but rather called out Ryan on Twitter.
Dude stole my look!! 😉🙅♀️😈 @VancityReynolds pic.twitter.com/II3VMK9xcT

Never one to let a barb fly, the prince of snark responded with:
Imitation is the sincerest form of larceny. https://t.co/vJQcXxbfs9

Is it just us who would love to see a Wonder Woman / Deadpool crossover despite not even being in the same universe?!
