Ryan Gosling just finished filming Barbie alongside Margot Robbie and they’re already gearing up for a reunion. The two-time Oscar-nominated actor is circling the role in the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven reboot alongside Robbie.

Not much is known about this project at the time because Warner Bros. hasn’t officially given it green light. Carrie Solomon wrote the script, while the four-time Emmy winner Jay Roach (Bombshell) is considering the possibility of directing the project. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but this film will most likely be a prequel, taking place in Europe in the 1960s.

Gosling most recently starred in the Netflix action flick The Gray Man alongside Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, and he’s expected to return in its recently-announced sequel. In addition to Barbie, the list of his upcoming projects also includes The Fall Guy, Wolfman, The Actor, and Project Hail Mary.

The rumors about a potential Ocean’s Eleven reboot started circling around back in May when Margot Robbie was attached to the project. This marks the second attempt to revitalize this beloved franchise, following the release of female-centric spinoff Ocean’s 8. Its star-studded cast included Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter and it earned almost $300 million worldwide.
