A new RuPaul’s Drag Race is coming to VH1 and this time it will feature celebrities.
The four-part event, promises to be “the most star-studded competition in herstory” and it’s set to debut on April 24 after an all-new episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race will show a trio of stars from film, music, television, and comedy getting drag makeovers and letting their true queens shine. The celebrities will compete in fan-favorite competitions from previous seasonד to win money for their charities.
The “Queen Supremes” that will be serving the looks include Drag Race alums Alyssa Edwards, Asia O’Hara, Bob the Drag Queen, Kim Chi, Monét X Change, Monique Heart, Nina West, Trinity the Tuck, Trixie Mattel, and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo. At the end of each episode, there will be an “America’s Next Celebrity Drag Race Superstar” crowned by RuPaul.
“RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race is a blast,” said RuPaul. “We put these celebrities through it! Because no matter how famous your charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent is, you still put your pantyhose on one leg at a time.”
