When we last left the Pearsons, we received a glimpse into the future of the Big 3 as the show continued its practice of hopping timelines.
A day before filming started, Chrissy Metz, who plays Kate, shared her excitement on Instagram:

“Y’all, it feels like the night before the first day of school! It’s difficult to put into a post what this show and the special humans who make it possible mean to me,” wrote the 37-year-old.
Creator of the ABC series, Dan Fogelman, then teased us with a snippet of a scene with Sterling K. Brown and Susan Kelechi Watson who play Randall and Beth.

Fogelman also gave us some insight as to what to expect when the show returns on September 25th…
“I think we might be looking at our most ambitious, potentially our best season yet, which is rare to say when you’re entering your 37th episode of a show, but I feel recharged. think we have really spectacular stuff coming and real showcases for these actors. We have some stuff coming for Beth right away early in season three where you really learn about her and where she comes from and what her background is that I think is going to be really exciting for the audience.”
