For their first public appearance since a friend’s wedding on August 4, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a gala performance of Hamilton in support of Sentebale. The charity, founded by Prince Harry in 2006, helps children with HIV in Africa.

The couple was greeted and seated by the creator of the hit Broadway show Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda. Apparently, Harry was so moved and inspired by the performance, that he decided that it was an opportunity to also make his musical debut!

Harry took to the stage at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London and after thanking the cast and crew, he went on to sing the first line of fan-favorite “You’ll Be Back,” sung by the character King George III.

Despite keeping it very short — he did only sing the first two words! — the Prince immediately stole the show and cast, crew and audience were overfilled with delight.

Lucky for those who weren’t lucky enough to attend the gala performance, Kensington Palace tweeted a short video of the moment, which was then retweeted by creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, who added the caption, “King George III’s great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson The Duke of Sussex sang a few bars tonight.”
