“Now You See Me 3” Developed by “American Hustle” Scribe

Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco in "Now You See Me" (2013)

The Now You See Me franchise is coming back to bring some more magic into our lives with a third movie, which is currently being developed by Oscar-nominated writer of American Hustle, Eric Warren Singer.

Lionsgate president Nathan Kahane released an official statement announcing Singer’s involvement and described him as someone who has always been fascinated with the fine art of deception and illusion.

“The Now You See Me franchise has been built on keeping the audience surprised and guessing. Any great magician knows, you can’t keep doing the same tricks. And Eric and his team of illusionists have something special up their sleeve for this new film,” said Kahane.

This movie franchise follows the group of magicians known as The Four Horsemen, who specializes in pulling off elaborate heists. Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, and Dave Franco played lead roles in the previous two movies, but it’s still unclear if they’ll return in the upcoming third film.
