It’s been ten years since Oasis split up due to rising tensions between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, but the band’s music still resonates with fans and band members alike.

A reunion seems very unlikely, even when you take into account the petition recently pushed by Foo Fighters towards this end, but it seems the music may be immortalized on West End stages.

Talking with The Sun, former band member Noel Gallagher reveals that such a musical is definitely an option. “The musical! People have been on to me about that for the last 10 years. And funnily enough Live Forever is always the title.”

According to Gallagher, he had talks with an “English guy who works on Broadway who knows about these things.”

Gallagher continued: “And he was like saying, ‘Your journey from rags to riches’. And I was like, ‘Do you have to make it so Dickensian? I never wore any rags’. People do love that s*t, I know. It’s inevitable it will happen one day. I will go and see it once.”
