The Jonas Brothers are back together, but for a while it was touch-and-go.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick did not end things on good terms, leaving the youngest member wondering whether the siblings would ever even speak again.

Nick was the one who supposedly “broke up the band,” as he felt that it was time they embarked on solo careers due to the strained nature of their relationship.

“I said, ‘You know, I feel like the Jonas Brothers should be no more, and we should go on individual journeys.’ And it didn’t go so well,” the 26-year-old told CBS Sunday Morning. “And I feared that, you know, we – they would never speak to me again.”

The good news is that the brothers managed to resolve their differences and not only speak to each other, but return to making music together.

“I think it was, it was kind of, I guess you could say destiny, whatever it may be, but yeah, we got a do-over, and I think this time around we’re going to do it right,” said Joe.

The Jonas Brothers’ new studio album, Happiness Begins, is out on June 7th.
