It is safe to say no one will be surprised to learn in the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things that Jim Hopper is still alive.
In fact, the teasers Netflix released for the new season have strongly suggested it. A new video released ahead of filming of the new series all but confirms it.
The streaming network has released a short video showing the cast members teaming up for a table read, in preparations of the filming. And yes, David Harbour is there among the others. The video shows all the beloved cast members getting together, but of course it ends before the reading actually starts.
In tradition with the show 1980s nostalgia vibe, the new video is filtered to seem like it is taken from an old VHS cassette. It also sees Priah Ferguson, who was promoted to a regular character after she won over the fans’ love.
Other cast members in the video include Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Cara Buono and Brett Gelman.
