Netflix has ordered 20 episodes of a new animated show, Mulligan, which will deal with this exact scenario. The series will follow the aftermath of humanity being almost destroyed by an alien attack.
Fey and Carlock, who previously brought us Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and 30 Rock, are on board to executive producer alongside Schmidt writer Sam Means.
