The first trailer for Netflix’s figure skating series is here.
The streaming giant unveiled the first look at the upcoming drama Spinning Out on Tuesday.
Spinning Out hails from creator Samantha Stratton and centers on Kat Baker, played by Kaya Scodelario, a high-level figure skater whose career is derailed after a disastrous fall. In an effort to stay in the competition, she teams up with bad-boy skater, Justin Davis (Evan Roderick), and risks exposing a fiercely kept secret that has the potential to unravel her entire life.
“I’m used to skating alone. I need time to adjust, ” Kat tells her new partner in the trailer.
The series also stars January Jones, Willow Shields, Amanda Zhou, Sarah Wright Olsen, and Svetlana Efremova.
The 10-episode series is set to debut on January 1, 2020.
