NBC Releases First “This Is Us” Trailer for Season 4

Sterling K. Brown, Faithe Herman, and Eris Baker in "This Is Us"

The first trailer for season 4 of NBC’s hit family drama is finally here.

The trailer opens with Rebecca (Mandy Moore) telling Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) just how much strangers can have an impact on someone’s life, teasing the slew of complete strangers that are about to join the Pearsons’ story.

“It’s so strange, isn’t it?” she says. “How just like that, a complete stranger can become such a… big part of your story. It’s actually kind of terrifying, you know?”

Ventimiglia and Moore, as well as series stars Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan and Ron Cephas Jones will be joined by Asante Blackk, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Omar Epps, Bahara Golestani, Jennifer Morrison, Timothy Omundson, M. Night Shyamalan, Julian Silva, Auden Thornton and Nick Wechsler.

“Many of our characters are in the middle of their stories, and that’s a point where characters are opening up to new things and new things are starting,” series creator Dan Fogelman told Entertainment Weekly. “That becomes a very exciting period for almost all of the characters, and for some of them, maybe a very scary period in terms of how fraught their storylines are.”
