Seems we aren’t the only ones excited about the Game of Thrones prequel!
As we come to terms with the fact that our beloved HBO series will be over in a few months’ time, at least we have the prospective prequel to look forward to.
Some details have already been announced regarding the upcoming series, including that it will be set thousand of years before the Westeros we know and starring Naomi Watts, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Georgie Henley, amongst others.
Watts’ character has been described as a socialite with a dark secret, and it appears as though the Aussie actress is keeping mum.
“Do you really think I’m going to tell you that? Are you trying to catch me off guard?” she laughed when asked about the plot by Variety at the Sundance Film Festival. “It’s a fantastic world, isn’t it? I think there’s so many brilliant elements to that series that make it very exciting, very appealing. I don’t want to dig myself into a big hole here. All I want to say is it’s very exciting… I’ll say that again and again and again — and nothing else.”
